Oh yes creamy burrata indulgent salmon and lots of pepper. This is such a yummy brunch lunch or light dinner. It would also be perfect for Christmas breakfast. The burrata takes it up a notch along with the watercress and salty capers.





Ingredients (serves 2)
- 2 slices bread, I used seeded whole meal
- 1 ball burrata
- 100g smoked salmon
- 2 handfuls watercress
- 2 tbsp capers, drained
- 1/2 lemon
- Drizzle oil, I used basil
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper
Directions
- Toast the bread on both sides under a hot grill
- Tear the burrata over the toast slices. Season with a good crack of black pepper and a pinch of salt.
- Add the salmon and squeeze over some lemon juice
- Sprinkle over the capers
- Finish off by adding watercress and a drizzle of oil. Enjoy π
